The
return of
Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is looked forward
to occuring on a future year of Jubilee. How appropriate that the
year the prisoners are set free, the One who sets all men free will
establish His millennial kingdom.
There
is some
controversay over what current years are now the year of Jubilee.

Most people are very
aware of June 7, 1967 but less people are aware of the prophetic
significance of General Allenby. Quoting from "The Times of the
Gentiles", by Joseph Hubbard, Tisdale, Canada, Feb 15 1919, page 36:
In 1898 A.D.,
when the Kaiser of
Germany visited the holy land, a beautiful highway was specially built
from Joppa to Jerusalem, for him to ride over in the state carriages of
Germany, which had been brought by steamer for this occasion.
When he, and his State Officers, and Ladies of State were entering the
holy city, the young Turks were greatly excited exclaiming: "Here
comes the deliverer of Palestine and the Jews." An aged Turk
hearing their exclamations of terror remarked: "This is not the
man." Then, he repeated an old, old Moslem prophecy; that the
deliverer of Jerusalem and the Jews, would enter the city on foot, and
his name would be a combination of the name of God, and of the
prophet. Gen. Allanby was regarded by Moslems as such a
combination of the name of their God and their prophet. The
Arabic name for God is Alla, represented by the first syllable of the
General's name. The Arabic for prophet is Nebi, this is the
second syllable. Vast numbers of Moslems have been familiar for
generations with this prophecy, and are now firmly convinced that it
has been fulfilled.

Lion - During the
50th Jubilee, on 12/11/1917, England, their symbol
being the Lion, takes over the "throne" of Jerusalem
Judah - During the
51st Jubilee, on 6/7/1967, the nation of Israel made
up currently of just the tribe of Judah, the "Jews", takes over the
"throne" of Jerusalem
Future Speculation
and Analogy: The Lion of Judah - During the
52nd Jubilee, on 9/23/2015, Shiloh, the Lion of Judah, takes over the
"throne" of Jerusalem for the millenium in fulfillment of Genesis
49:8-10?
Judah, thou art he
whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be
in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down
before thee. Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou
art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion;
who shall rouse him up? The sceptre shall not depart from
Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and
unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Genesis
49:8, 9, 10
(Shiloh is a synonym
for Messiah and means tranquil or peaceful.
And He shall rule during the thousand years of peace, of rest, from
Jerusalem, the city of Peace.)
And no man in
heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was
able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much,
because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither
to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep
not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath
